• See The five pillars for a quick overview of policies.
• For the basics on WIkipedia, see Help:Contents/Getting_started
• Don't be scared by policies. An edit of yours may be reverted if it doesn't follow our policies on Citing sources, or Notability. In such a case, leave a message on the talk page of the reverter, or on my talk page, and I'll explain the relevant policy.
• If you have a project you want to undertake (like improving an article, etc.), just notify me on my talk page, and I might give you some tips.
• Feel free to ask me any question, however simple it may seem, on my talk page. To create a new section, click the "New section" tab at the top of the page. To edit an existing section, click the 'edit' link next to it.
