editReview suggestions:
This sentence "One French traveller in the 1740s described hundreds of miles of river banks with no sign of human life and once-thriving villages that were devastated and empty. " Should perhaps be in quotations, rather than italics?
Maybe this citation at the end of this sentence ("This expedition alone was responsible for the destruction of most of the Jesuit missions of Spanish Guairá and the enslavement of over 60,000 indigenous people.[4][5][6][7][8] ") should be split up further, so that not all 5 sources are listed after one sentence (unless the sentences cites all 5 sources...I just wasn't sure if it did)
Include citations after sentences that have specific statistics, percentages, or quotes, such as "For example, in 1872 43% of the population was free mulattos and blacks."
Aside from that though, you have lots of different citations and links to different pages throughout the article, and it's really well done! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shannon7mcnamara (talk • contribs) 00:51, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback! Another reviewer also pointed out that there are sentences without citations that need them, so I plan on going through and fixing those. I am running across the issue that some of the uncited sentences are not mine, but if I can find the information in one of the sources I have I plan on updating those citations.
