Hello, Lee Jaeseong and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished!

Good job

Cho Jung-sik (ko:조정식 (정치인)) is certainly notable, and you can create an article about him. I only worry whether you will be able to find enough reliable sources to expand his article sufficiently. The Korean article is very short and unreferenced. Some living politicians do not have much material about them. You are welcome to try, but if the article ends up very short you will need to think about another topic.

Economic inequality in South Korea is a very important topic and a good idea, so it is approved. There are some existing articles in Category:Economic inequality that can serve as a guide. Good luck!

Ps. Please add them to the course's dashboard. Thanks! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:19, 20 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Cho Jung-sik

edit

The article Cho Jung-sik has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. | Naypta opened his mouth at 13:07, 20 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

The article needs a reference to be kept. Please add it ASAP. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:32, 21 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

re: Wiki assignment(Deadline 4)

Re: User:Lee Jaeseong/Economic inequality in South Korea - good start. Please format the references by adding the date of the source, for example [1] should contain the date 2014.05.30 . Also the real publisher is not 'naver news' but [2]. Please make sure to bypass news aggregators and cite the source directly from the original publisher. Blogs are not reliable so we cannot use them as source, so you'll have to replace [3]. Likewise, User:Lee Jaeseong/Cho Jung-sik(Politician) is a good start but [4] is missing the name of the author (Park Ji-won). Please make sure all your references have dates, names of authors and correct information on the publisher. Also, please make sure paragraph, and preferably each sentence, has a reference. But overall you are doing good job, keep it up! PS. Please remember to WP:SIGN your talk page posts in the future. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:10, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Feedback "Economic inequality in Korea"

edit

Hello, I'm Cha Juhee from the Social Development class. I will read your article and leave feedback. It is interesting to see the current state of economic inequality in Korea. But I think the quality of articles will improve if we show not only the phenomenon but also the history of inequality. I think writing a paper on how economic inequality affects Korean society will improve the quality of articles. It is also recommended to use visuals. The use of visuals is also expected to help realize that polarization is deepening. Juhee Cha (talk) 06:13, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Cha Juhee from the Collective Intelligence class. I will read your article and leave feedback. There is a high possibility that articles about people will be biased. However, your article only contains objective facts. For example, it's about his life and achievements. The most praiseworthy thing is that it does not include biased content. We should add related incidents and achievements in the future. Juhee Cha (talk) 06:44, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Feedback about "Economic inequality in South Korea"

Hello, I'm Seonghui Kim from the Social Development class. I read your article and I think the topic is really important and interesting. But I think It would be nice to have pictorials such as graphs in your writing. Because picture data is more intuitive than words. And I think it would be better to add a link to an important word, like Gini coefficient, the Palma ratio, and the gap, etc. If you do that, it will be helpful to understand deeply. Cho Jeong-sik looks very good and I encourage you to submit it to T:TDYK when you are done. Things to fix at this point are 1) each paragraph should have reference (or several) and 2) please add blue links (hyperlinks).

Keep up your weekly edits and I am sure your grade is going to be very good! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:15, 4 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have reviewed User:Lee Jaeseong/Economic inequality in South Korea. It is a good start but needs more expansion, as well as addressing the following issues: 1) Each paragraph needs a reference 2) please use academic references (scholarly papers/books), not just news 3) references need formatting. Please add information on the author and date. Also, instead of citing Naver News, cite and link the original paper, for example instead of [5] please find the paper at [6] 4) for extra credit, you can add images, perhaps make some graphs using Excel or such? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:04, 5 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Well done, I think you can copy your content to Economic inequality in South Korea. Please format the references better, ensuring they have the author, publisher, date and the translated title in addition to the Korean title. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:19, 21 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
