Wiktionary is not considered a reliable source per WT:WWIN, especially #2. If you insist on American usage, your WP:disruptive editing will be drawn to the attention of administrators. Sweetpool50 (talk) 19:59, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I fail to see what exactly the problem is here. It is evident that medieval is the more common spelling in British English, just compare https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=medieval&year_start=1800&year_end=2019&corpus=29&smoothing=3 and https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=mediaeval&year_start=1800&year_end=2019&corpus=29&smoothing=3&direct_url=t1%3B%2Cmediaeval%3B%2Cc0. Additionally, see https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Middle_Ages/British_spelling_of_Medieval and https://chambers.co.uk/search/?query=mediaeval&title=21st. This being the case, I have reverted your revision yet again.

P.S. What exactly does WT:WWIN have to do with this? Have you read what you have linked? Kolekant (talk) 23:43, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
