Hi, all. Recently, I was blocked under username NonServiam666. I don't understand the reason for this blockage. I was simply trying to edit the Irish diaspora page. The reason given was vandalism and block evasion, but I have not been vandalizing or evading blocks. I simply want to edit the article. Although I didn't provide citations last time, I can provide citations this time (if that was the problem). I am not trying to vandalize or engender any harm. I just want to contribute to Wikipedia and help with articles. Thanks, Kinfoll77Kinfoll77 (talk) 02:16, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- There is no account called NonServiam666, but there is Nonserviam666, which has once edited the article Irish diaspora, so that must be the account you mean. However, that account is not blocked, and never has been. Assuming that you have not had some other account which has been blocked, my guess is that you have been subject to a block affecting your IP address. That could be either a direct block on your IP address, or an autoblock caused by your IP address very recently being used by the user of another account which has been blocked. Since you posted to my talk page about this, I assume that you saw my name in the block message you saw, but I have searched through all the blocks I have placed over the last couple of months, and can't find one that fits the information you give. Are you sure that the block affected the account Nonserviam666, not just an attempt to edit without logging into any account? If it only affected you when you were not logged in, then there is no problem as long as you do log in. If it really does affect you when you are logged in to either that account or this one, then let me know exactly what the message you see when you try to edit says, including any IP address it gives, or the name of any other account it mentions, and I can try to sort it out for you. Ok, I'm not exactly sure about NonServiam666, I thought I created that account, but when I tried to log in with that it won't come up. I'm just going to use this accountKinfoll77 (talk) 19:18, 20 June 2014 (UTC), from now on. I will let you know if I have any more problems. Thank you for taking the time to help. Repost of Pinky (Adult Entertainer)
edit A tag has been placed on Pinky (Adult Entertainer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Disambiguation link notification for March 8
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited August Ames, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Polish. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Empire characters
editI saw your article that is waiting for review for the Lucious Lyon character. With your permission, I'd like to start contribute to it, if that's ok with you. I've actually been working on articles for all of the main characters on Empire. However, I wasn't exactly sure if it would have been too soon start putting out articles. Here is what I have so far, however Lucious is probably the least developed piece. You can respond to me on my own talk page.
Hakeem Lyon storyline section?
editHey I just built an article for Hakeem Lyon. I don't have the time to do a storyline section right now. You can do it if you want.--Nk3play2 my buzz 22:06, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. I'll do it. I don't have anything for Hakeem now, but I'll put something together before the end of tonight. Kinfoll1993 (talk) 22:37, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
Quotes from other actors
editAlso, I have some concern with the Cookie Lyon and Jamal Lyon article, as there were quotes from other actors. We came to an agreement that there should not be quotes from actors who did not portray the character that the article is about, but there are quotes from Smollett in Cookie's article and quotes from Howard in Jamal's article. There needs to be consistency in regards to that; i.e. if the Jamal article can only be from Smollet/Jamal's perspective, then the same should apply to the Lucious article and Cookie article. Another option would be to keep the quotes from the other actors in the Jamal and Cookie article, but allow back the quotes from Henson and Smollett for the Lucious article. I mention this on the Cookie Talk section. Kinfoll1993 (talk) 22:37, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

Development section?
editI noticed you putting the casting and creation sections for the Empire characters in their own section. I initially put it under the development heading BECAUSE the casting and the creation of a character is a major part the character's development. I plan to put the sections back under the development heading. Just wanted to give you a heads up.--Nk3play2 my buzz 17:16, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
Please see Lucious Lyon talk page. I disagree and maintain that they are NOT a major part of the character's development section, nor a part of development at all. They are an utterly SEPARATE entity. Kinfoll1993 (talk) 20:30, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
Empire character pages
editHi Kinfoll1993. I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but I read the discussion at Talk:Lucious Lyon and I think Flyer22 has some good suggestions. I don't have any real experience with articles related to fictional characters, so I'm not sure there's much I can add. Thank you, — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:36, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
African American commercial testing companies
editHi, Middayexpress. When editing the African American page, I didn't mean to place unreliable information down. I was simply unaware that commercial testing companies were not reliable, as I had always thought information from 23andme and Ancestry.com would be fine to use as references. I viewed Malik Shabazz's page because I got a new message from him concerning an article about Lucious Lyon which I created and am responding to that, and noticed your message there about me adding commercial firms. We resolved this on the talk page. You don't have to worry about me adding any information from commercial firms. I know better now, and when I add further information, it will be from non-profit research such as the latest information I added from the Oxford University study. If you wanted me to not do so, you could have told me on my talk page-we would have worked it out. I understand and I'm not trying to sabotage the page, I was only adding information I thought would help the article. I guarantee you this issue won't come up again, at least not from me. Kinfoll1993 (talk) 20:53, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Kinfoll1993. I'm not sure I follow. I believe we already did discuss this on the talk page and reached an agreement after I explained to you the WP:MEDRS policy. Malik Shabazz noted as much there as well. At any rate, in future, please first discuss any major changes on the talk page for consensus per WP:BRD. Thanks, Middayexpress (talk) 21:24, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
I don't think I checked the date/time of the message you sent Malik, I thought the message was sent after we went to the talk page, but it was sent before. My mistake. I'll be sure to take it to the talk page from now on per BRD. Kinfoll1993 (talk) 21:31, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Re: Empire character article format
editFirst, I'd like to apologize if I offended you during our last exchange. And you're right, I did the same thing I accused you of doing. I hope we can move forward and work together on this without too much conflict. Secondly, sorry it has taken me so long to respond, I've had some things come up. However, I'm back and ready to work. I've created a sandbox of the potential article format here taking into account some of your suggestions and some of my own. Tell me what you think on my talk page.--Nk3play2 my buzz 20:16, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- The "characterization or personality" was actually so we could make a decision on which one we wanted to use for the articles. --Nk3play2 my buzz 20:44, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, well I'd prefer personality, as seen in the Manning article. The two are interchangeable, I remember earlier in the discussions on the talk page I had preferred personality, and you had preferred characterization. Do you still prefer characterization? Kinfoll1993 (talk) 20:55, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- Personality is just fine. I'll start implementing the changes.--Nk3play2 my buzz 22:42, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- Ok after further review, and actually seeing the format used in the Lucious article, I've come up with a slightly altered version. I've done away with the word "portrayal" in the casting section. It seems you were right when you said portrayal and characterization were interchangeable. And as for "Characterization" over "Personality," I did that specifically for the character of Cookie because the "Fashion" section would be included in that section. I think "Characterization" can cover a much broader spectrum of the character's personality. HERE IT IS.--Nk3play2 my buzz 23:41, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- The set up looks good, but I think that Creation would still go better with Development rather than Casting. I think it is a good idea to keep Creation and Development together b/c it is a middle ground of sorts-since I had maintained that Creation wasn't a part of Development and you had maintained it was. With the two put together that issue is resolved. Kinfoll1993 (talk) 04:51, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Imperator Furiosa a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Please don't do this sort of thing again. DES (talk) 20:56, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
