Hi
editRe your message. From Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Johnny Tri Nguyen it isn't possible to tell the state of the article at the time of the AFD. But http://www.sfgate.com/movies/article/Johnny-Tri-Nguyen-finds-movie-stardom-in-Vietnam-2471796.php by itself is already enough as far as I can see. - Recreated a stub: Johnny Trí Nguyễn. Thank you for having brought this up. I concur with all your comments. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:42, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks again for your help. I initially thought I was overreacting but I'm glad someone else sees my point!Khocaon (talk)
- I don't think you were overreacting at all, I have left comment about the AFD at Talk:Johnny Trí Nguyễn. However, this would rank as one of the worst AFDs I have seen, I'd like to believe it's not typical and isn't entirely representative of a systematic problem. It's more an issue that some of the editors who participate in AFDs do so without clicking interwikis (in this case German Italian French..), or worse still leave WP:PROD tags on articles without clicking interwikis. I have tried in the past to suggest writing an amendment into deletion guidelines to ensure all editors at least visually view foreign language interwiki articles before PROD or AFD, however there wasn't consensus for such an amendment. Please feel free to improve the article by the way, I merely created a stub. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:07, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- I'm working on it right now! :) Khocaon (talk) 01:11, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- I note the SF Gate article mentions Ngô Thanh Vân, that's now ancient history and not reliable for the article I guess :). In ictu oculi (talk) 01:59, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
