Disambiguation link notification for October 7
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Catherine Furbish, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Portland. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
editHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:55, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

editCustom signature fix needed
editHi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.
The problem: Your signature contains a syntax error, specifically formatting tags that are in the wrong order.
The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.
- Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
- Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Change the signature as shown below, or make other edits to make the signature appear how you want it to appear.
- Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.
Current signature:
<span style="background-color:#000; color:#fff; font-style:italic; font-weight:bold;">Jocelyn</span>
Fixed signature:
<span style="background-color:#000; color:#fff; font-style:italic; font-weight:bold;">Jocelyn</span>
More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 19:13, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

Translation request for Korean Wikipedia: WiTricity (와이트리시티)
editHello! On behalf of WiTricity and as part of my work at Beutler Ink, I've shared a draft entry for Korean Wikipedia, which is a translated version of the English Wikipedia article. I'm searching for an editor who speaks Korean and is willing to review this draft and update the entry appropriately. Might you be willing to take a look? Thanks for your consideration. Unicode chart translation request
editHello. I maintain multilingual Wikimedia charts showing roadmaps to the various planes of the Unicode Standard.
I'm hoping you can proof-read/complete some Korean translations for me. (I noticed your user name on the Wikipedia:Translators available list.)
The specifics are at User:Drmccreedy/roadmap_multilingual#Korean.
The existing charts are used on this Korean Wikipedia page.
Thank you for any help you can offer. DRMcCreedy (talk) 02:22, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
