A Category For Laughs
editSo you are looking at this little area I made, and you are thinking? Who is this guy? Why did he put this here? If you do not like me, this will no doubt not help you at all. But I thought I deserve a spot to look and laugh. We all spend so much time dealing with our user talk pages. To me this place has more of a gloom, and doom vibe to it, than anything else. Always waiting for the next lurking Editor, who has had just about enough, and needs someone to vent on.
So at the risk of sounding like I'm talking to myself. I'm posting a joke here, every now and again.
A lawyer is standing in a long line at the box office. Suddenly, he feels a pair of hands kneading his shoulders, back, and neck. The lawyer turns around. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" "I'm a chiropractor, and I'm just keeping in practice while I'm waiting in line." "Well, I'm a lawyer, but you don't see me screwing the guy in front of me, do you?"
Unexplained edits
editIf you have come across an error of edit? Please feel free to bring it up. I am clearly not the best editor, but I do what I can.
I'm very humble, and very open minded. Thank You. Jason West Jones (talk) 02:22, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
A good example of what I am trying to say here, would be the quote on my user page. Though it is dark. This does not mean I posted it to provoke you.
I'm just a fan of the person whom I quoted. Jason West Jones (talk) 02:23, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
Don't like my USER PAGE?
editI find it very ironic that often, when I update my user page on Wikipedia. And share it on my social networks, another user just has to come on my talk page, and dislike something. I think it would be a better use of everyone's time to be editing on Wikipedia, rather than attacking a persons user page for god's sake. I am editing articles. I don't have time to go looking for flaws on your user pages! How the heck do you find time to come troll mine? Jason West Jones (talk) 00:47, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
- "I am editing articles". Your contributions history tells a very different story. That is why I object to you having a user page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:26, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
Look, I am doing the best that I can. Right Now. I have a family, and work. I do this as a volunteer like most people. There is nothing on my User Page that is so important to me, that I would see someone like you as "having issues" threatening them, and I can not stress the amount of "issues" I think you must have. I have seen accounts on here that are freaking retired!!! And they still stand. I am building up my work in Wiki, or at least trying. And I am dealing with you! Some odd ball stalking, very rude person. I'm going to keep having hope for me on Wikipedia, and stop having hope for you. As you are a very negative person. If you want to act against my account? Knock yourself out!! Either way, I have a life. I hope you get one, one day. Also I pull into question many of the aspects of your user page. I do not think you have earned your Barn Stars, and am taking steps to make sure you have not abused policy. Since you are such a caring person and all, why not play your own game? Okay mister happy pants? Jason West Jones (talk) 19:44, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
Roger W Haworth
editI have made a category just for you. I believe that is it your soul intent to try & use underhanded reverse psychology, in a weak attempt to shake me loose from the Wikipedia Tree. The only issue you might find with this is, I STUDY LAW!!! So as you might be able to guess? Just as you have your little pictures of yourself on your user page. I have my hobbies listed on mine. That means they are not a solicitation of my profession!! Thus not breaking any rules!!! Thank you for your time. Feel free to add more rhetoric about how you don't like the amount of work that I have done. For a non profit, you sure are a slave driver. Thank You Jason West Jones (talk) 21:20, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
Assume Good Faith
edit Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on User talk:RHaworth. Thank you. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 21:20, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
This editor has done nothing but state that he wishes to have me removed from Wikipedia. How the heck do you assume good faith from that? Jason West Jones (talk) 21:23, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
- If you think someone's been uncivil to you, first you try to defuse the situation. That's often best accomplished by ignoring them, though really, you should always make an attempt at diplomacy. If someone repeatedly either re-engages or escalates with you, or rebuffs your diplomacy attempts, you report them. But you do it as civilly as humanly possible. What matters in a civility dispute is not so much who said what, but who did more to worsen the situation. I would advise apologizing for your arrogance and rudeness, and ceasing and desisting before RHaworth's wish becomes a reality. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 21:28, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
I will not be ceasing and desisting, and I could care less. I have read the new policy about how a handful of editors have been abusing policy, and he fits the bill. If I am removed from Wikipedia, it will be because of his intolerance not mine. My talk page is not jammed packed with people trying to understand why someone would sink so low. Thanks for nothing! Sorry for bugging you. Jason West Jones (talk) 21:35, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
There are more accounts on Wikipedia that are retired with less work than I have made, than I can count! Why am I being singled out?? Explain that, please!! Jason West Jones (talk) 21:50, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
From The Moodbar Thank You
edit
Sorry about that. You can try putting {{helpme}} on your talk page. Or you can try the Dispute resolution noticeboard. Also, posting multiple moodbar messages probably won't help. Hope the situation gets solved!
Vincent Liu (something to say?) 23:20, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
I wanted the people who setup & monitor the moodbar to see this. He is backing off, though at this point. I think he was doing
it more or less for his own amusement, as he will not answer any of my questions. I guess he is just another disturbed editor. I don't
know why he picked my user page to threaten? He acts as if I am an old attacker or something. Strange person. I hope he leaves me be. Jason West Jones (talk) 23:26, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
- Just a friendly heads-up: I still haven't removed your page from my watchlist, and, having nothing better to do, I thought I'd check out how things have progressed. I wondered what this section was about and... I honestly have no clue. You tend to revise your talk page a lot, which is fine, but, when re-factoring, you want to be careful that other editors can still understand you. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 01:07, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
I really think I'm just going to leave Wikipedia. This is way to much for me to handle. You guys are relentless. I have family members who are dying. If you guys are this anal retentive? Maybe I should just should shut down this account, and allow you to bother someone more worthy than I. Does that sound good? Jason West Jones (talk) 01:14, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- I... I really have no beef with you. You're complaining about something in this section, and I can't tell what it is, so i was suggesting that you make it clearer - if someone's violated the harassment policy against you, I'd love to know about that. As I said, it was "just a friendly heads-up." I practice what we call (and this is the actual name used here, not me being sarcastic), don't-give-a-fuck-ism: If an editor is bothering me, I either take the appropriate measures or ignore it; I do not try to subtly imply things, and I always say exactly what I mean, no more, no less. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 01:25, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
I want to leave Wikipedia because Roger is following every detail, of every little thing I do. Nothing seems to make him happy. I'm being treated like a hacker! I want the hell off Wikipedia. I can't deal with this anymore! Jason West Jones (talk) 01:32, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Spurious <br/>s
editYou may like to add lots of <br/>s on your own pages but we don't need them in the (article) namespace. Edits such as this one are pointless and will be soon reverted. Please do not do them (and certainly not just to bump up your edit count!). — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 00:30, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, everything I do is because I'm just trying to have an edit count. I'm also the devil. Do you even know how to be civil at all? You have my word, I will never add another "break" again to a page. Is there anything else I do that annoys you? Like breathing air on planet Earth? Jason West Jones (talk) 00:36, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

I want to leave Wikipedia. I have tried my best to get these guys off my back. I have been editing, no matter how they see it. I am here to edit. I can't handle them any more. I want to shut down this account, so they can move on to their next abomination of existence. How do I shut down this account? Can you please help me? Thank You.Jason West Jones (talk) 01:28, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Please Help Me Shut Down My Account
editI can't take this abuse anymore. I don't know why Roger has singled me out. I don't know why every little thing I do, for better or worse is monitored by him. I WANT TO CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT! PLEASE HELP ME!! IF I NEVER SEE ANOTHER WORD WRITTEN FROM ROGER AGAIN, IT WILL BE ONE DAY LONGER I LIVE WITHOUT STRESS!!! HELP ME SHUTDOWN MY WIKIPEDIA ACCOUNT!! PLEASE!!! IM BEGGING YOU!!
- There is no way to completely shut down your account. The closest you can come is blanking your user page and user talk page and replacing their contents with {{db-u1}} (place the template on both pages, including the brackets), and then changing your password to a random string of characters so you can never log back in. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 01:31, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- We should ask Roger if that is okay!!? Is it okay if I do that Roger?? Would that be fine on my log!!??? Would that bother you???!!!?? I clearly don't want to upset Roger!!! Jesus Christ knows Roger runs Wikipedia!!!! Do you think he would be alright with me leaving because of him???? Jason West Jones (talk) 01:35, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- (You can't copy text you've typed in as a password, so to confirm your new [unknown] password, type a string of random characters somewhere else, copy it, and paste it into both boxes.) — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 01:37, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Simply walk away from your keyboard, simple as that. Your account cannot be deleted, see Wikipedia:FAQ#How do I change my username/delete my account?. -- Patchy1 01:36, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- Another way is to blank your userpage and talk page and put up some {{retired}} templates. -- Dianna (talk)
- (You should use {{retired}}, as Diannaa suggests, if you would like the history of this page to be preserved; if you use {{db-U1}}, only admins will be able to see its history. So pick whichever suits you better.) — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 01:44, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- Oops. I forgot to actually explain what {{db-u2}} does: It tags your page for user-requested speedy deletion. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 01:47, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- And user talk pages cannot be deleted. If that's your actual picture on your userpage, you might like to request its deletion on the Commons. -- Dianna (talk) 01:52, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
I just can't handle Roger following every detail of everything I do. I can read my own log. I don't need him reminding me. Why does he need to single me out? Does he not have anything else to do? As god as my witness, I will never dontate to Wikipedia again. I will never advise anyone come here, and upset Roger. And the great job he is doing at making people lose their freaking minds!!!!! Jason West Jones (talk) 01:52, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Ok, I put the retired thing on my user page. What do I do with this talk page? Is Roger gonna keep bothering me now? Am I still gonna get emails about what he thinks about my log? I swear I will blow my brains out if I hear from him again! The man is freaking fruitloops!!!!! Jason West Jones (talk) 01:59, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- Stress! Has it occurred to you Jason, that the unprecedented level of personal attack that I have received from you over the last few days is something that I might find stressful? I have never sent you any e-mails. Any that you have received are automated and can be turned off in your preferences. I am sure that your leaving Wikipedia is the best decision and, with all sincerity, I wish you well in your life away from Wikipedia.
- To confirm: you may request deletion of User:Jason West Jones by applying a {{db-u1}} tag. There is a firm convention that user talk pages are not deleted, but if you reduce this page to the "retired" notices at the top of the page, that will be acceptable. You may need to come back from time to time to remove any flack that has arrived subsequently. As Dianna says, you may also wish to request deletion of your photo from Commons. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:20, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- To confirm I never asked you for help, Roger. You saw fit to come on my talk page as if I was attacking Wikipedia, and treat me like some sort of threat. As you treated me like trash. I then gave you what you expected. When you treat people badly, they are gonna react badly. If you don't know that by your age, you need help. I do not like you. And I think the world would better off without people like you. Invest in some skincare products.. Happy Holidays! Jason West Jones (talk) 18:28, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Blocked
editI've certainly seen nothing substantive from your contributions, except for a lot of vitriol against User:RHaworth, which, were it to have stopped, could have been overlooked. For each of the past three days, you've spewed nonsense on this page and on User talk:RHaworth, with the kicker being the skin care line above. I've elected to block this account indefinitely as a consequence. You can appeal with the unblock template -- Samir 19:35, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- And, of course, that means requesting an unblock while logged in and explaining your behavior, not while logged out under an IP with which you presumably have been continuing said behavior. --Kinu t/c 04:19, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
