Hi! I wanted to invite you to discuss the external links section on the Johnny Sauter article at the Talk:Johnny Sauter#External Links. Thanks --Kateshortforbob 14:42, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
External links
editPlease stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Johnny Sauter. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Link spamming for a website that you control
editIf you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. Royalbroil 23:05, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- It is inappropriate for you to add links to a websites that you control. You clearly have a conflict of interest, as you admitted at Talk:Johnny Sauter. Also, you have reverted the Johnny Sauter twice. Another reversion will violate the 3 revert rule, and I will report you at WP:AIV. You will not get another warning for reverting. Your recent edits
editHi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 23:36, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
