Wikipedia:Training/For students

Hi Ittarusp! This is a reminder for you to complete all three interactive tutorial modules in the student training. The record shows that you have skipped all of them. --Taweetham (talk) 23:12, 18 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Cuvette

edit

Hi Ittarusp! You need to work harder.

  1. Your description of the equipment was copied (or poorly paraphrased) from one patent. The content at this moment is not useful for encyclopedia. You should find a better source and write a better paragraph to describe the equipment. Describe about quartz, plastic - cost, properties, capacities and uses.
  2. I wonder if you put wrong side of cuvette into the machine. It looks transparent from front to back which implies that you have the matted sides on the light path. You should give a sensible filename and category to your upload too. If you want to upload a revised (better) version of the same photo, go to Wikimedia Commons, click "Uploads", choose your file, and click "Upload a new version of this file."

ICCH224 update

edit

Hi Ittarusp! Thank you for your work. Here is what you can do to improve your contributions:

  1. I echo what ajarn said above. I'm not sure which side of the cuvette that was. To be sure, retake the picture on Friday. Once ready, do not upload it as a new file. Go to the current one, and click 'Upload a new version of this file'. Your article will be automatically updated with the new version of the file.
  2. As a requirement, you need to upload at least 2 media to Wikimedia Commons and use them in the article. Please upload one more.

Thank you for your work. Please

  1. Add proper category to your uploads and include quartz cuvette in your picture too.
  2. Move your content to main article.
