My name is Natalie and I am Intercultural Communication in the 11:50am section. I am a Biology student but am interested in the study of Intercultural communication because I desire to do cross-cultural ministry in the future. I also believe every individual could benefit from understanding how to interact and communicate better with people from other cultures. We will inevitably communicate with people different from ourselves throughout our lifetime, so strengthening these skills will be very helpful!! Potential Pages
editThere are a few pages that I am interested in contributing to according to their significance in intercultural communication.
- Greece-United States relations - Naturopathy - Missionary
I have narrowed my search and have decided to focus on Greece-United States relations.
Here are some potential sources. More articles have been located via APU online article database, but these are some that I have had the opportunity to briefly overview.
- US Relations with Greece. Oct 2012. U.S. Dept. of State. http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/3395.htm
- US-Greece Relations and Regional Issues. Nov 2007. U.S. Dept. of State Archives. http://2001-2009.state.gov/p/us/rm/2007/95201.htm
- Greece and USA- Politcal Relations. 2013. Hellenic Republic- Greece in the USA. http://www.mfa.gr/usa/en/greece/greece-and-the-usa/political-relations.html
- Relations Between Greece, the United States, Canada, and Latin American Countries. http://www.hri.org/MFA/foreign/usaen.htm

I like your references - make sure to find references from a non-US perspective.Ajungle (talk) 17:18, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
Thank you Professor Jung. The MFA sources I have (3 and 4) are from the Hellenic Rupublic I believe, and I also have more under my APU online library catalog! Those are articles that would not be able to be navigated to via a link, but I can put those up if you would like! Interculturalcomm.student.7069 (talk) 20:26, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
Revisions Made
editThus far, I have contributed a bit of material to my page Greece-United States relations, edited some grammatical errors, and added a citation to an non-cited section. This process has been interesting, and I have enjoyed interpreting the information I am learning in the context of intercultural communication. However, there is not much opportunity to elaborate on the nature of the intercultural communication between Greece and Europe because there is no literature to support this kind of communication. I theorize are hypothesize about the cultural differences that influence this relationship, but as two countries they seem to be only tied in communication by treaties, committees, or advocacy groups.
