Welcome!

Hello, Hoodaan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Metaheuristic have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Hello, I'm Gilderien. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Metaheuristic, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Gilderien Chat|List of good deeds 13:48, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ditto. Also, please provide a short summary explaining your edit. Thanks! Kiefer.Wolfowitz 14:42, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Talk:Metaheuristic. This content could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I left a note on the talk page. This is the nicest template for WP:BLP violations, although given my statement at the talk page, I would have liked a gentler warning.

Please note that WP:BLP is one of our most important policies, for reasons that should be obvious. Please avoid commenting on academics, etc., but just discuss ways to improve the article. For example, if somebody has published a reply to Sorensen in a refereed journal, then the article could probably note that reply. Please do not comment on Sorensen or any other living person. Thanks! Kiefer.Wolfowitz 18:50, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
