Hello, I'm Antiochus the Great. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to List of countries by military expenditures because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! As I and other editors have pointed out at the articles talk page, the second table is supported by consensus. It is you who would need to gain consensus for its removal. If you continue to engage in blanking the section holding the second table I will rollback the edit to the last version supported by consensus. As you have no WP policy issue and your edits are POV based I will mark the edits as vandalism. You have had fair warning. Antiochus the Great (talk) 10:20, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of countries by military expenditures. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. I would prefer to have to warn you for disruptive editing as opposed to vandalism, but given that you ignore both consensus and the comments made by other editors at the articles talk page I am going to mark this as vandalism. Especially as you are intent on blanking almost the entire article. Antiochus the Great (talk) 12:36, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Talk:List of countries by military expenditures. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You blame other for harassing and attacking you....but you do the same!!.. Don't expect others to be so civil towards you when you are not TheStrikeΣagle 13:05, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:07, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed solution

edit

Hi, I've left a message at WP:AN, but in looking into how to resolve the dispute, I discovered the SIPRI data needed to update Table 2 is now available online (please see) http://www.sipri.org/research/armaments/milex/milex_database - The data there will allow Tables 1 and 2 to match, with up to date data which can be added to Table 2 matching the latest data in Table 1. If you and Antiochus the Great can confirm by updating Table 2 the dispute can be resolved amicably, I will unlock the page and allow both of you to resume editing. I've informed Antiochus the Great that you were asking for an apology over on my talk page. It's not a bad idea that you both apologise to each other and have a talk over at the article's talk page before you begin editing the article again, just to make sure you're both happy with what's happening and don't edit up edit conflicting each other. I am not obliged to offer any apologies towards Hakan.Antiochus the Great (talk) 00:36, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello Hakan, I just saw you proposed a good solution idea at the AN regarding the List of vegans. I would just like to say well done and good job! This is the sort of editing I like to see on Wikipedia, helpful and positive comments. During our recent "argument" I judged you for being simply an aggressive and unhelpful editor, but now seeing that you can also be a good and helpful contributor I would like to apologise to you. So please, lets forget about our differences and be more friendly in future :) Kind regards. Antiochus the Great (talk) 21:54, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

removal of comments

edit

You can remove comments from your own page at your will without comment as you did with my post, but you should never remove comments from someone else's talk page when they have been responded to as you did at Nick's talk page. If Nick wants to remove the claim you made about me he is free to do so, but you should not remove it or my response to it. GB fan 22:44, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Good to see you have sorted out your differences!   TheStrikeΣagle 15:56, 24 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've asked a question in the AN thread, if you want to pop over and have a look. I'm trying to sort out what's what, and some insight might prove valuable. Thanks! UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 14:52, 26 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Booking.com, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Priceline, Accomodation and Five-star (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm McGeddon. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Flappy Bird, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. McGeddon (talk) 14:30, 22 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Flappy Bird. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 16:33, 23 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppetry

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Camoka4. Thank you. TDL (talk) 00:29, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
