editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Hittite sun disk has been reverted.
Your edit here to Hittite sun disk was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://simpsonturkishadventures.blogspot.nl/2011/06/ankaras-sun-disk.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 15:09, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

Akdeniz
editWhen you translated Akdeniz (sculpture) from Turkish, you apparently only translated the first sentence of each paragraph. Can you please finish translating the rest of the article? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:19, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- Yes I hadn't finished translating it all yet when I published it. I finished it now.--GlobalSecretary (talk) 22:03, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 27
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Akdeniz (sculpture), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gaza (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Index of Turkey biography-related articles
editI noticed that you've created many biography articles about Turkish sculptors etc. You can add these titles to the Index of Turkey biography-related articles. Cheers. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 07:03, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
@Nedim Ardoğa: Hi Nedim Ardoğa. I have added the articles to the index. I see many articles are still missing. All articles in the category Category:Turkish people and its sub-categories and sub-sub categories and so on should be linked to in the index. Perhaps the best way to go for this is with a bot. Atatürk forest in Israel
editHi GlobalSecretary,
You recently wrote this article, which states that the forest is located "on Mount Carmel Beit She'an Valley". This is strange as Mount Carmel and Beit She'an Valley and two completely different places. Based on the English sources in the article, it looks like it's located on Mount Carmel, and it's part of the Carmel Forest, but there is really not enough information.
Where is this forest located exactly? Do you have a map with more details?
—Ynhockey (Talk) 12:23, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
@Ynhockey: The Turkish language sources, except for one source, also say that it is located at Mount Carmel, and on the southern part of Mount Carmel to be more exact. One source states that Ataturk Forest is located in the "Beit Şean Vadisi / İsrail" which translates to Beit Şean Valley, Beit Şean Gorge, Beit Şean Vale, or something along those lines. This source is probably wrong or maybe there is another Ataturk Forest located in Beit She'an Valley. Perhaps this picture with a sign in Hebrew has more information. Perhaps someone who can read Hebrew can understand a more exact location from this sign. Regards--GlobalSecretary (talk) 16:26, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- All Hebrew-language sources point to Mount Carmel (the sign doesn't say anything useful here). I have not been able to find a reference to another such forest in the Beit She'an Valley. Thanks for fixing it in the article. —Ynhockey (Talk) 16:40, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Turkish sculptors
editHi, on en.WP we normally don't link common terms, years, dates, etc. Your piped links to "Turkish people" would be regarded as too generalised to link, given that we try to ration links to guide readers to the most specific and relevant. Please see WP:MOSLINK. Tony (talk) 02:50, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
- Perhaps a link to Turkey would be better? Ragards--GlobalSecretary (talk) 16:36, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
