Hi GamemasterDael, your recent redirect Tower of Terror (Camelot Theme Park) recently came up in the new pages queue and I'm confused about its relationship to the redirect and its target, Twist n' Shout. Would you be able to explain so that I can properly categorize it? Wug·a·po·des08:23, 5 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Recent entries at the RCDB ID list

edit

I see you've updated names in the list, and this is greatly appreciated. However, please carefully read the description at the top of the page. There is a reason why you see gaps in the list. We only need to include notable roller coasters that are likely to have significant coverage in reliable sources, meaning they will have their own article at some point, or at the very least, dedicated space in an amusement park article. We should avoid entries for almost all kiddie roller coasters, for example, and even bigger coasters that existed at lesser-known amusement parks that do not have an article on Wikipedia. We should definitely avoid coasters that are in traveling carnivals and received zero news coverage.

I just checked 1501 through 1520, and out of those 20 you added there, only 4 passed the test of having some value (and even then, none of those 4 will ever have its own article). Hopefully this helps explain the reason for this list and how to approach it moving forward. Thanks again for your willingness to help out! --GoneIn60 (talk) 18:58, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
