Protection of your POV tag at Transnistria
editHi Gaidash:
I just want to make sure you will notice my recent post re your RfC. It is at Talk:Transnistria#Persistent removal of POV tag without answering the concerns raised will result in filing for the article's protection. Regards, --Irpen July 4, 2005 08:16 (UTC)
Protection of Transnistria
editHi Gaidash! I have seen your request for protection of this article. It looks to me that the current edit war is about the POV tag--no actual content is currently being removed/restored, so I have chosen to keep an eye on the article rather than to protect it (though another admin might decide differently in the meantime). I have added the article to my watchlist and I will follow it until the edit war seems to have fizzled. I am not going to take sides in the dispute, but I will follow the usual procedure of a warning followed by a 24 hour block for any 3RR violations that I see. JeremyA 4 July 2005 20:06 (UTC)
- Hi Gaidash, being not aware of your request of protection, I filed one on my own at User_talk:Ambi#Protection_requested_for_Transnistria.
- I think whether or not Vasile gets a 24-hour block for 3-RR violation, eventually it is possible to work with him on the article, although with difficulty. He, at least, seems to read the comments and respond to some. As or Duca and Mihaitza, they are well over the line. With RfC properly filed they may well end up sanctioned but I am not motivated enough to spend time on that.
- Finally, let me say again that I am amazed of your patience and cool temper. I myself did not have enough of either and withdrew from this article. Fisenko seems to have done the same thing, probably, for the same reasons.
- With several other users I am involved in several Ukrainian/Russian projects. Let me know if you are interested. I will gladly send you the WP links. Cheers and see you around! --Irpen July 4, 2005 20:29 (UTC)
