editHi Furado,
I may have been thrown of track by possible vandalism, but if you resolved the case all the better. Cheers! --EthicsGradient (talk) 23:01, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Cleopatra
editThank you for the corrections. I am somewhat embarrassed about the Francisco Pina Polo thing. I should have known that "Pina" was a component of his surname. I mean, Spaniards (and their Latin American brethren) do retain both their maternal and paternal surnames as part of their full names. I think, in my busied rush to get the article finished, I just reflexively thought like a typical American and viewed "Pina" like a middle name. Lol. Not sure why, but you are very diligent in catching this and other little mistakes. Thank you! The Featured Article Cleopatra is now worthy of that status. Regards. For your outstanding work in translating Cleopatra and related articles into Spanish
editThe Rosetta Barnstar | ||
I, PericlesofAthens, dub thee, Furado I of Galicia, righteous protector of the Wiki and valiant knight of the realm for his outstanding services in translating the article Cleopatra into Spanish, along with other related articles, the Early life of Cleopatra, Reign of Cleopatra, and Death of Cleopatra. Wear this barnstar with pride, because you have earned it with flying colors. Congratulations! Pericles of AthensTalk 08:45, 2 November 2018 (UTC) |
- Also, one little thing, if you know a bit of Portuguese as well and have some spare time on your hands, you might also want to take a look at the Portuguese language article for Cleopatra! It could use a lot of help. ;) Cheers! Pericles of AthensTalk 08:46, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- Just popping in to let you know that recently I have made some significant additions and changes to the article Death of Cleopatra, which is now a Featured Article Candidate. You translated this one into Spanish as well, so you might be interested in reviewing the changes and seeing if the Spanish version could accommodate them as well. Notice how I also added a new source, Eder 2005. Pericles of AthensTalk 17:44, 20 November 2018 (UTC)

Hey, Furado! It appears that you aren't thanked often, so I came here to do so. It's ironic how many grammar or technical errors someone can find that dozens have editors and 30 thousand viewers have not spotted during the FAC process and its TFA time. As that's what you are doing at Paper Mario, I would like to thank you for it! Panini!🥪 12:43, 17 August 2021 (UTC) |
- Just out of curiosity, I see that you mainly work on the Spanish Wikipedia. Are you working on these edits because you plan on doing an article translation? Panini!🥪 12:45, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
