Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Uwe Boll. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Tgeairn (talk) 04:29, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • As Materialscientist stated above, the key here is to provide reliable sources for additions to Wikipedia. The first paragraph of your addition to Uwe Boll describes a 2009 legal action and you did not provide a reference for that material, or for the allegations of tactics. The second and third paragraphs are about the 2010 legal action; while the document you provided does capture the complaint (and may be useful as a reference in that context), it does not provide a source for the additional allegations contained in those paragraphs.
It is essential that material be sourced, and when dealing with articles regarding living persons, any unsourced material that may be considered negative is to be removed immediately. I know that you are a new editor and that you are looking to contribute effectively to the project. I suggest you take your suggested additions to the article discussion page and work with other editors to find sources before re-adding the material. Also, be sure to take the time to read the pages linked to from the welcome message that MS posted above.
Thank you for asking for help, and please don't hesitate to ask on my talk page if you have any questions! Happy Editing --Tgeairn (talk) 18:01, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
