Tips
editHello. I see you're working on the nonviolence page for college credit. Good to have you aboard. Wanted to give you a tip on a book by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Thomas E. Ricks that's being published in a couple of weeks, Waging a Good War: A Military History of the Civil Rights Movement, 1954-1968. It contains very good material on the nonviolent tactics used in the 1960s Civil Rights Movement, and should be a valuable source for your work. Randy Kryn (talk) 15:32, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you, Randy. I will try to get the book. Felixboye (talk) 15:47, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- It'll be worth every cent. Do you know the work of James Bevel? If not, and you're interested in nonviolence in theory and action, you're in for a treat. Randy Kryn (talk) 15:53, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
Article on principled and pragmatic nonviolence moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Article on principled and pragmatic nonviolence, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
