Welcome!

Hello, EmilyBird, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one of your contributions does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. Promotional

edit

I suggest you stop adding promotional material and incomprehensible management speak too this article as it appears you have a conflict of interest.--J3Mrs (talk) 10:34, 20 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Not Intentionally promotional

edit

The page now has less information on products than before I attempted to update the very out of date stuff that was there before. People want product information. If you feel that it reads like a catalogue than, by all means, tidy it up, but constantly deleting EVERYTHING and having an empty page defeats the object and means that there is next to no information on a major Lancashire company.

There is no "conflict of interest", simply interest and knowledge of the organisation and if you are going to edit my additions please pay attention to your spelling and grammar ;-) EmilyBird (talk) 10:52, 20 July 2011 (UTC)EmilyBirdReply

I'm afraid whatever my grammar & punctuation may be like your edits are far too promotional and in no way neutral. Wikipedia is not a product catalogue and people do not read articles to find it! The article requires proper citations, the page is not empty.

If you look back to the original version you will see a list of products- these were out of date and I have tried to update them. I am aware that Wikipedia is not a product catalogue but people do want to know what Promethean produces and I do not understand your reason for vetoing this at every turn! Maybe you have a conflict of interest...

It has nothing to do with an original version it is about an attempt to turn this page into a catalogue promotion. Please stop it.--J3Mrs (talk) 11:14, 20 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Not A Product Catalogue!

edit

It is not an attempt to create a product catalogue. I have no reason to do that. However people ARE interested in what a company actually produces and I am very intrigued as to your motives for constantly removing this...

Methinks you do protest too loud. My motive for removal is simply this is an encyclopedia requiring content cited to independent sources not a product catalogue that can be found elsewhere.--J3Mrs (talk) 11:24, 20 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
No conflict of interest eh? [1].--J3Mrs (talk) 12:12, 20 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
