editHi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Mike van Beijnen article, but I have found one and added it for you. Please try and remember to include sources yourself with future edits. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 15:27, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
Flags in infoboxes
editYou cannot use the argument that flags are used in other infoboxes to support their inclusion at FC Den Bosch. User:Mattythewhite correctly quoted MOS:FLAG to you, which says flag should not be used unnecessarily, and the nationality of the owners is just not relevant enough to need to add a flag to the infobox. – PeeJay 11:43, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- It is relevant. It is a Dutch footballclub with American owners.--DutchPJ (talk) 11:45, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- It's not that relevant though. Mention it in the article. You don't need to add a flag. – PeeJay 11:46, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- You say it isn't relevant. Look, I said it in the other part, to Dutch pages, the flags are everywhere. I really don't see why people must make this little changes which don't make a page better.--DutchPJ (talk) 11:50, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Club short names
editIf there were any confusion about whether we were talking about the city of 's-Hertogenbosch or the club FC Den Bosch, then I would agree with you that we should specify. But there is no confusion in the Ruud van Nistelrooy article, as it is obvious we're talking about the football club. You are acting extremely disruptively now, and you need to stop before you get blocked from editing. – PeeJay 11:46, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- And you have to stop changing stuff like this. Look at all the Dutch pages, every page speaks about FC or SC. Or do we have to change all official names of clubs everywhere?--DutchPJ (talk) 11:48, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- Can you please stop referencing other articles? If other articles are doing things wrong, we'll address it at the time, but there was nothing wrong with the Ruud van Nistelrooy article, and you shouldn't have changed it. – PeeJay 11:49, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- And again that is your opinion there is nothing wrong with it. Offically the club is called FC Den Bosch, simple as that. Wikipedia is not a website where no one can change stuff. And maybe come to the Netherlands, or send an e-amil to the club to ask what the right name is :-) And don't understand me wrong, I don't want a 'fight', but I don't see you want a descent discussion.--DutchPJ (talk) 11:53, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- No one is arguing that the club isn't officially called "FC Den Bosch", but as I showed you in that BBC link (if you want more I can find them), they are colloquially known simply as "Den Bosch". We don't need to call them FC Den Bosch every single time, or even at all unless there is confusion between the club and the city. Now please undo your changes. – PeeJay 12:09, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- And in The Netherlands it is called FC Den Bosch. And int this way you have to type more FC Den Bosch|Den Bosch instead of simply FC Den Bosch. --DutchPJ (talk) 12:32, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- Right, but this is the English-language Wikipedia. You can write whatever you want on the Dutch Wikipedia, but on the English one, we should go with what English-language sources say, and most of them just say "Den Bosch". Please undo. – PeeJay 12:38, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

November 2021
editWelcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in FC Den Bosch, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Per MOS:INFOBOXFLAG. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:11, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for this. I will blame my English a bit, but I also want to say that the thing you wrote is way more nicer than the stuff from PeeJay above. But I still don't understand why there is a differnce between the Dutch and English rules. No offence, just want to know it. --DutchPJ (talk) 12:21, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
Good morning, from Portugal,
i want to present my sincere apologies to you for my summary. In my defence, only this: there had been several cases of vandalism in the player's height, and i swear to you the last time i checked the MAISFUTEBOL infobox source the player's height was 1,87. The site must have changed it in the meantime, but i definitely should have checked stuff better before writing what i wrote.
Continue the good work, happy weekend! 193.137.135.5 (talk) 08:06, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- Good morning from The Nedtherlands,
- The part about the site you write I didn't noticed, so I understand better now why you react like you did :-) And apologies excepted :-)
- Happy weekend there also! Think the weather there is hotter than here haha! DutchPJ (talk) 08:12, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
No sir, rain these next days here! Then, hot again, crazy... --193.137.135.5 (talk) 08:33, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- Than I stay here. We have sun but a temperature that only polarbears think it's hot haha! DutchPJ (talk) 08:39, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
