Speedy deletion of "Children's Use of Information"

- I have moved it to User:DrKimWriter/sandbox. Please note the small matter of spurious caps. More importantly, student projects often fail because the submissions are too much original research / essays. I am doing the assignment in connection with the American Psychological Society's Wikipedia Initiative. My students have already edited other pages, but as they are 3rd year doctoral level students, there's no reason to suspect that they can't do this. - No reason to suspect that they can't do what? Improve existing articles or create new articles which conform to our policies? Nomination of Children's use of information for deletion
editA discussion is taking place as to whether the article Children's use of information is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Children's use of information until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

I have discussed the issue of the page being 'essay-like' with the students, and we all agree that the page does read like an essay. We are currently in the process of editing the page to make it read more like an encyclopedia entry. We may also need to change the title. I do believe that the topic itself (How children use information) is notable, but the topic could be better titled. DrKimWriter (talk) 22:58, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
