Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Kek (mythology). Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. I see you've been warned for this before. Doug Weller talk 19:35, 31 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

There was no personal attack. --Donenne (talk) 03:41, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
There most assuredly was.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Philip Green‎, you may be blocked from editing. Roxy, the dog. barcus 05:20, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Philip Green. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 07:49, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

You are edit warring to include inappropriate material in a WP:BLP and posting aggressive and insulting edit summaries[1] and templates, accusing another user of various ridiculous stuff. I did a double take when I saw this version: "inside his daughter"?? Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Anything like any of that again, and you will be blocked. Bishonen | talk 08:49, 19 August 2018 (UTC).Reply

Sorry Bish but how is that edit summary aggressive? In what world can citing Wikipedia Policy to a user in an edit summary in order to avoid them from vandalising an article be considered aggressive? Physically assaulting someone is aggressive. Shouting verbal abuse and threatening someone's life is aggressive. This edit summary is not aggressive. Secondly, I thought I had written inside a relationship with his daughter, and I corrected the mistake once it was reverted. I think you need to start assuming some WP:GOODFAITH. --Donenne (talk) 09:03, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
In a world where the user you called a vandal is just upholding wikipedia policy. Read WP:BLP again (ha), wp:vandal and wp:npa though I suspect you know them very well. -Roxy, the dog. barcus 09:58, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Oh, you didn't physically assault Roxy, you only implied he had hidden nefarious reasons for removing your BLP violation ("Just because you might know Phillip Green IRL")? That's obviously fine then. And you say "inside his daughter" was a typo for "inside a relationship with his daughter", which isn't even English. See, that I do not believe. AGF is not a suicide pact. Don't do it again. Bishonen | talk 10:15, 19 August 2018 (UTC).Reply
English is not my first language though it is my preferred language for correspondence. Try using Hebrew. --Donenne (talk) 10:45, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Varför skulle jag använda hebreiska? Det här är ju engelska Wikipedia. Bishonen | talk 15:26, 19 August 2018 (UTC).Reply
For the record, I do not know Green IRL. I cannot remember if I have edited this article, though it is quite possible. I have strong opinions about him. -Roxy, the dog. barcus 17:39, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Note the special rules for biographies

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have recently shown interest in living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.  Bishonen | talk 10:18, 19 August 2018 (UTC).Reply
