Welcome to my user talk page! Leave a message here (shortcut) or just look through the discussions already posted!

A couple things you should know before posting here:

  1. Please add new talks as a primary section (==Example==), and follow with your message.
  2. Please note that all of the talk discussions that are more than two weeks (14 days) old have been archived. Please see User:Doggy54321/Talk archives for a comprehensive list. If I have archived a discussion that you have participated in and you would like to reopen it, please make a new section and mention that this is a continuation of a previous discussion.
  3. I usually respond in a fairly timely manner. A good way to gauge when I will respond to your post is to look at my contributions list and check when I was last active. If you find that I am not responding to your post fast enough, please contact another editor.
  4. Please be polite, civil and always assume good faith while interacting with me.

Thanks,

Category:Cultural depictions of Taylor Swift

edit

Hello, Doggy54321,

Please do not remove all of the contents of a category and then tag it for CSD C1 speedy deletion. Doing this is called "emptying categories out of process" and is considered disruptive editing. If you believe a category should be deleted, renamed or merged, please nominate it at Categories for Discussion. Categories exist in an interrelated hierarchy and what affects one category can impact others. So, please use CFD in the future if you believe a category should be deleted. Thank you. Liz Read! @Liz: Thank you so much for letting me know. I had noticed this category while filtering through Category:Taylor Swift and didn't recognize it. I found that the category only contained four pages, three of which (Faith Hilling, HappyHolograms, and The End of Serialization as We Know It) don't have any mentions of Swift at all, which meant they had no place in the category. This left Famous (Kanye West song) as the sole page in the category, which has lived in the main category for a long time, and a single-page category with minimal potential for other pages to be added didn't feel all that necessary. As per your advice, I will nominate the page at CfD. Apologies for the inconvenience. Thanks! DđŸ¶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 04:24, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:57, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
