A tag has been placed on Draft:Pamela Neferkará, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello Dandrews-nyc -- Welcome to Wikipedia! I've declined this immediate deletion request and placed a note at the Women in Red talk page asking if someone can come and help out with this draft. Meanwhile, I note you have no other contributions, and I must ask, are you related in any way to Pamela Neferkará, or are you receiving payment of any kind for drafting this article? If so, please read our guidelines on conflict of interest and paid editing as appropriate, and follow the instructions there to acknowledge your connection to the subject. This is particularly important if you are being paid to submit this content, which is only permitted if openly acknowledged. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 06:58, 28 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your response. To clarify, no further acknowledgment is needed; I am not related to Neferkará, nor am I receiving any payment or compensation for creating a Wikipedia entry for her or anyone else. This is my first contribution to Wikipedia. I have reviewed the guidelines and am striving to learn how to contribute effectively. Dandrews-nyc (talk) 07:07, 28 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for responding, Dandrews-nyc. What would be most useful are articles about Neferkará in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, such as newspapers and magazines. Generally you need to provide at least three articles from different sources that talk about the subject in detail to demonstrate that the subject meets the notability threshold for inclusion in the encylopedia. The best way of writing an article is to start from these reliable independent sources, and write only what they say, rather than anything from sources connected with the subject such as LinkedIn.
If you need help with editing then the Teahouse is a friendly forum for newcomers, and Women in Red is a good place to ask about contributing bios of women. Best of luck! Espresso Addict (talk) 07:23, 28 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
