I'm sorry FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me. Still trying to figure out how all this works. I did end up getting that figured out, but would you mind telling me if this is the right way to respond? Commadore Cundo (talk) 05:45, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for figuring it out. This mechanism of response is as good as any. As you gain experience you will see how the mechanism of pinning other editors works. It's somewhat arcane, and I can't remember exactly where the help item, on that is. Perhaps @AssumeGoodWraith can remember and help me out?
The thing on Wikipedia is only to submit for review something which is a draft article. I know it's tempting to click the button in the text, but that just sends what is present for review. Please enjoy creating and editing articles. The process ta Wikipedia:Articles for creation will help you, as will reading Help:Your first article. Add {{Ping|Username}} to the start of messages, link someone's userpage, or type in a @ when using Discussion Tools (autofills usernames) – AssumeGoodWraith (talk | contribs) 09:49, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Timtrent: By the way, I have seen templates and other non articles submitted for review. – AssumeGoodWraith (talk | contribs) 09:49, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@AssumeGoodWraith That is likely to be because new editors have used, but not yet understood, the process of article creation. There are automated tools that place the templates there, bit it is at the editor's discretion to press the button
@Commadore Cundo I have found what I was looking for. It is Help:Notifications. There's a lot to figure out for new editors. I hope you enjoy an intriguing new hobby here FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 10:05, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Timtrent: I meant people actually submit templates for review. Not the AFC template.
I'm assuming you're talking about the AFC template. "There are automated tools that place the templates there" - quite a coincidence.
And @Commadore Cundo: It is now time to read about the BLP policy, verifiability, notability, spam, vandalism, disruptive editing, edit warring, original research, the neutral point of view, reliable sources, civility, harassment, personal attacks, copyright, article titles, user rights, what Wikipedia is not, the spoilers guideline, the protection policy and the blocking policy. (joke, I swear) – AssumeGoodWraith (talk | contribs) 10:13, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Sure thing, thank you both for your help! Commadore Cundo (talk) 14:00, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
