Proposed deletion of Technologist (magazine)

edit

The article Technologist (magazine) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

New magazine, too young to have become notable yet. Article creation vastly premature.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I think that both the magazine and the university network deserve to be mentioned in Wikipedia. I already added a reference and will add some more soon. Let me know if you have any suggestion to improve the article. Chaudeau (talk) 19:10, 25 June 2014 (UTC).Reply

Deletion notifications

edit

Hi, It is standard practice to notify the article creator if one proposes an article for deletion. These notifications do not belong on the article's talk page, because they must be displayed on the article itself. If you look at those PROD banners (not the AfD one), you will see that they instruct the person who is proposing deletion to notify the article creator. BTW, I apologize for the second PROD. An article can only be prodded once. I just clicked the wrong button when I did that, I intended AfD. It's been corrected since.I'll also remove the extra and superfluous notice on your talk page. hope this explains. --Randykitty (talk) 11:22, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
