Controversial subjects
editHi Billster, just a quick followup from my answer to your Teahouse question. In mentioning Tucker Carlson I think you were trying to say something like "here's video of X, does that affect your position?", rather than "Carlson says X". At least, that's my friendly take on it. If you decide to get involved with controversial topics in the future, it would be better to link to the video itself rather than simply state it exists, and if you can do so without saying "NBC would be considered a biased source by anyone in their right mind" - not likely to persuade anyone who might disagree with you - so much the better. I agree with you that any debate about the state of affairs, separate from what reliable sources say and what to do with the article, does not belong on Wikipedia. I think your NBC comment might have gone too far in using your own opinion as an argument, which is not what we're here for. › Mortee talk 23:38, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
