Speedy deletion nomination of Bocatelli

edit

A tag has been placed on Bocatelli requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. signed, Rosguill talk 18:28, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Laura Weinberg

edit

The article Laura Weinberg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable politician under WP:NPOL and WP:POLOUTCOMES.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited West Germanic languages, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Middle German. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Presidency Navigation Templates vs. Biography Navigation Templates discussion

edit

Hello, Avrand6! Since you are listed as an active member of the United States Presidents WikiProject, would you mind leaving a comment at a project talk page discussion about a series of templates that I created for the presidencies of Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush? Another editor and myself disagree about whether there should be a separate navigation template for each Presidency apart from the biographical navigation template. October 2024

edit

Hi Avrand6! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Remsense ‥  20:00, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

New message to Avrand6

I recommend you start discussion on the respective talk pages, as there are distinct policy reasons behind the dispute on each page that you should address before adding the content again. Thanks. Remsense ‥  10:10, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

User:Remsense The consensus of the War of the Sixth Coalition was to include the US as a Co-Belligerent in the infobox, it was unilaterally (and I would argue incorrectly) removed by User:E4t5s.new without discussion on September 10th. (which I only just became aware of yesterday) The inclusion of it should be the status quo, and if consensus is reached to go the other way, only then have the article be changed. Inclusion of Napoleonic Wars on War of 1812 infobox was also standard prior to October 5. The Napoleonic Wars on not discussed on the talk page of War of 1812, so there is no reason to alter this until consensus is reached. Please, refrain from unproductive edit wars and let us let the earlier status quo sit until this can be resolved amicably in the talk pages. I have started discussions on talk pages, feel free to join the discussion. Thank you. AvRand (talk) 10:47, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
