Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Transzaar
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Transzaar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Alexf(talk) 10:31, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
- Let me quote from the deleted draft:
- At Transzaar, we are all about saving you time and hassle. This is why we included an integrated spell-checker.
- Why "we"? -- Hoary (talk) 09:49, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
Soory for Using "We", Next Time I will remeber this. Please give the chance to revise it.
--Ashuutosh (talk) 10:01, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- No, I'm not complaining, or asking for an apology. I'm asking for a reason. After all, this wasn't a mere fluke. Here's another quote:
- Our proprietary Transliteration system converts script from one language to another with similar pronunciation.
- Why "our"? -- Hoary (talk) 10:34, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
I mistakely used these words (I, our, we ..). My intention was not to advertise the product. If you give me chance I will remove these words from draft. --Ashuutosh (talk) 10:51, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- No, it can't have been a mistake. Let's take this as an example: At Transzaar, we are all about saving you time and hassle. This is why we included an integrated spell-checker. Did you write this, or did somebody else write it? -- Hoary (talk) 12:42, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
I am the user of this tool. Sine it is free so I think other translator get benefited to know about it. Yes, I copied some text from their website to make the article. But My intention was not the advertisement of Product. If I get a chance I will fix these issue.
--Ashuutosh (talk) 12:51, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- At the foot of the top page of the website, we are told:
- eBhasha Setu© 2018. All rights reserved.
- So it's copyright. (And no, it's not copyleft.) Here's what you're told when you edit Wikipedia:
- Content that violates any copyrights will be deleted.
- Its deletion was entirely appropriate. -- Hoary (talk) 13:43, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
Yes I agree. But this was the draft. I was working on It. I just collect some text to write my article. I will remove these data. Please provide the backup. Can I re-write the same article.
--Ashuutosh (talk) 02:15, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- No I will not supply it. Here is why not. If there are independent, reliable sources about this, then, if you avoid plagiarizing them, you can use these sources to create a new, non-promotional draft. -- Hoary (talk) 06:31, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
So if I avoid plagiarizing, then Can I use the same name of articale as before? --Ashuutosh (talk) 06:46, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- It seems that you weren't interested in my answer, because you went ahead and made a draft, and then turned it into an article (still with no independent sources).
- Yes, it has one (1) "reference". But this isn't a reference for anything that you say. It's merely a link to something you mention. It therefore has no independent, reliable sources.
- I could have just deleted it, but instead I kindly moved it to draft-space. Do not convert it into an article until everything that it says is backed up by an independent, reliable source. -- Hoary (talk) 10:24, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
OK I will not move it to article. I need more refrences ? --Ashuutosh (talk) 10:29, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- If I tell you that (i) it has no references, and (ii) everything that it says has to be referenced, then either (A) it needs a lot of references to independent, reliable sources, or (B) you should give up the attempt to write about this subject for Wikipedia. If you prefer course (A) and succeed in providing independent, reliable sources for everything that the draft says, then write a message saying that the draft is now suitable for conversion into an article. Either write this to User:RHaworth on User talk:RHaworth, or write it to me at User talk:Hoary. (Don't write it to both.) NB both RHaworth and I have limited reserves of patience. -- Hoary (talk) 10:41, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- In fact do neither of those: when you think it is ready, click on "submit your draft for review" and wait patiently. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:54, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
@Hoary, @RHaworth Thanks for the suggestion. I will do this. --Ashuutosh (talk) 15:28, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
No, it's not fit to be an article
editI would guess that RHaworth, like me, had in mind a long, scrupulous revision process, citing independent, reliable, secondary sources. That seems to have been a pipe-dream. I see that you are already asking for a review, offering a total of four references:
- "Transzaar Empowers Human Translators", a video promoting the product
- "Transzaar Empowers Human Translators", a conference paper promoting the product
- "Transzaar Empowers Human Translators", a slideshow promoting the product
- "Sampark: Indian Language MT System", a page that's about something mentioned in the article, and that doesn't mention Transzaar
You don't have a single independent, reliable, secondary source for anything that the article says. At this point you're just wilfully wasting people's time. -- Hoary (talk) 07:20, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
So What the mean of Independent reliable Source ? Befroe writting this article I have refer many article on wiki related to this type category and I took help from those article to give refrence like Pairaphrase --Ashuutosh (talk) 07:26, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
- Please read Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. Yes, the article on "Pairaphrase" is terrible. Please model your draft after good articles, not bad ones. -- Hoary (talk) 08:16, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
OK. Thank you --Ashuutosh (talk) 10:31, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
