- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>
, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References== {{Reflist}}

editHello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Angry Birds Space, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 20:00, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- Just to make these keeping consistent, because I know that the episodes from Angry Birds Space are planets. Not galaxies. The reason is because the episodes from the episode select, looking like planets. ArdaOnay2004 (talk) 20:57, 15 December 2023 (UTC)

editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Prime (disambiguation). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you.

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Angry Birds Space, you may be blocked from editing. Waxworker (talk) 22:09, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

editYou may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Jim Cummings. ☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(ring-ring) 15:19, 17 February 2024 (UTC)

Final warning
editIn this edit, you didn't provide a source. And you passed off a rumor as fact. Neither are acceptable.
I'm concerned how many warnings you're received about not adding a source when you add/change content on Wikipedia. It's a non-negotiable part of editing Wikipedia. If you do any more of this, your account will be temporarily blocked from editing. Please take the time to learn how to do this. WP:REFB is a good help guide for this. - (sigh) Please, stop. How was I supposed to know I was being "annoying", huh? Why does everyone keep telling me off in every wiki? That's old and boring. You all didn't know what I was doing, you think I'm no help here. Wrong. I will be. Now I'm serious. ArdaOnay2004 (talk) 12:18, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- What are you talking about? I did not call you "annoying" I objectively and directly linked you to a place where you are not following the rules. You need to add a source any time you add or change content to Wikipedia. If you can't, or won't do this, then your account will be blocked. Sergecross73 msg me 13:42, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- How was I supposed to know? And I thought editing something was unnecessary for me, so you would think it was annoying. So I understand, for once. I need some tough seriousness. ArdaOnay2004 (talk) 17:07, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- Almost every comment on your talk page is someone telling you to use sources when you edit Wikipedia. I'm concerned your reading comprehension may not be good enough to be writing an encyclopedia... Sergecross73 msg me 18:28, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm not good enough at this. I edited Sonic Heroes because it was about to get a remaster real soon. Which is why you gave me this final warning, I do not want to make the same mistakes ever again. ArdaOnay2004 (talk) 19:04, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

editYour account is blocked for 2 weeks for repeatedly adding unsourced content, and writing unverified rumors as fact. Sergecross73 msg me 15:25, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- You can still edit your talk page even while blocked, and can request an unblock through following WP:UNBLOCK, though you're going to be hard pressed to write up a successful request with the number of warnings you've gotten for following this very basic concept. - Disappointing to see this, though at the same time, it seems pretty apparent that you are not currently ready to be editing Wikipedia, as you seem to be having a very hard time with the basics. No offense, but I recommend taking time away and waiting until your reading and writing comprehension is better. It appears to be a hurdle to you editing constructively right now.
