Embassy of the United States in Tokyo

edit

It isn't clear from your contribution to the article how the issue is related to the Embassy. Are you saying that the embassy is a Japanese government owned premise? I've marked it as needing a citation as well. RosinDebow 22:07, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your notifications. I added some references and more. Amagase 03:40, 20 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please Help

edit

Hi Amagase,
Thanks for fixing my article section header earlier at Selarang Barracks Incident on May 10. As u are a native Japanese, I would appreciate if u could help me to provide the Nihon-go equivalent for a kind hearted Japanese person whom i wrote recently. His name is Shinozaki Mamoru who is known for saving thousands of Chinese and Eurasians during WWII in Singapore. Also, i'm unable to find any latest references whether online or at my local libraries whether he's still alive to date. Think u can help me on this issue from your side?

I'm so surprised that the article which you write about Shinozaki is detailed and accurate. His memoir "Syonan - My story" is regarded as one of the most important source about the occupied Singapore in the Japanese media too.
His Japanese name is 篠崎(SHINOZAKI) 護(Mamoru). I searched through the Japanese pages on the Web but couldn't find whether he is alive or dead. I'm going to seek information about him in libraries, so wait some days. --Amagase 17:31, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hai, domo!
Thank u for your kind compliments. FYI, it took me nearly a week to reseach, cross-reference and compile the data I extracted from local libraries and online earlier. It was a rather tedious & tiring process but my passion in writing & history has sustain me all these while. It would be useful if u could provide more details on his childhood or early years during your search and help me to add my contribution to the Wiki Japan "New Article" page as i couldn't find or missed it earlier. u may recommend it for "DYK" if u find it meaningful & of benefit to the Japanese readers and Wiki community too. I've added his name in Nihon-go and await your input with anticipation. Domo!

Thanks for adding the Toyako pictures!

Lovely pictures, absolutely vital to the article as it says the place was chosen because of it's scenic beauty. Just wanted to say "thanks"! Mackan 13:59, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is DPJ a member of Alliance of Democrats?

edit

Mr. Amagase, is there any official party decision on the membership of DPJ in Alliance of Democrats? As far as I know, no official information on this issue is found in the DPJ website. The link you mentioned (http://www.allianceofdemocrats.org/cms/view.php?dir_pk=8&cms_pk=34) only shows that Mr. Naoto Kan "joined" the meeting (meaning that he took part in the meeting). Furthermore, according to the CALD website, DPJ is not a member of CALD (http://www.cald.org/website/memberparties.htm). Could you please show me your source for the revision you made? No, it's my mistake. Thanks for your correction.Amagase 13:09, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.
If you continue to make personal attacks on other people as you did at Fraud, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. I have been very patient about your continuous personal attacks on me, but you're keeping going further from your ill faith, so this warning sign is to suggest you to reflect your misconduct here.--Appletrees (talk) 17:45, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

The world is a strange and ironic place, who would have thought that the very user who was warning you regarding your impending block due to personal attacks on a particular article, would himself be blocked for attacking you and his actions on the exact same article? Isn't the world strange sometimes?

Non-free rationale for File:Poster of the Nara National Museum.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Poster of the Nara National Museum.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:26, 28 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notification of automated file description generation

edit

Your upload of File:Chinese Crossbow.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
