editThank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Talk:Vocabulary development, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Your plan is looking good, by the way! — Mr. Stradivarius ♫ 11:02, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks very much for the information regarding minor edits. I've reviewed the guidelines and will keep them in mind in the future. I'm glad you think the plan is looking good so far. Alindsay9 (talk)
Vocab development
editHi Alindsay,
Please let me where you wrote the leading paragraph for the vocabulary development article. I searched every where possible, and couldn't find it. I guess you've not started working on it yet. Or if you have, please let me know where it is, so I can add or revise. Thanks!

Alindsay,
I was actually working on the original lead paragraph, trying to fix it a bit, and adding some few points. I think the lead paragraph should focus on the main point of the article, particularly, the title, by pointing out the main ideas surrounding it. About the structure of the brain, I don't think we need it.

Thanks for letting me know. I re-ordered some of the books so hopefully I will get them soon so I can get the page numbers in. Eheiberg (talk) 21:35, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

DYK for Vocabulary development
editOn 30 March 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Vocabulary development, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that in vocabulary development from age six to eight, the average child in school is learning six to seven words per day? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
