Hi Abbey, thank you for posting your articles. They all look like good options, that can use some work and you will learn a lot in updating them. My comments: Many of them could benefit from some reactions and diagrams. Lipid-Anchored Proteins (high-importance): You could go in a lot of different directions with this. It would be very helpful to add some pictures/diagrams, but for this topic that might require some computer graphics skills. Side Chain (high-importance): There is a useful discussion of amino acids and their properties, but I don’t think there is enough to work with there. Protein Catabolism (high importance): There is a lot of possibility for expansion here, however more peripherally related to the course. Deoxyribonucleoprotein (mid): Definitely room for expansion, but, while we are studying proteins we aren’t really discussion DNA Enzyme activators (mid, but I think this should be high): This is a good option, plenty to add and quite relevant to the course. Phosphoprotein(mid): I’m not sure how much needs to be added here, other than a few pictures/diagrams. However, there is a related page on protein phosophorylation that is already longer, but still has quite a bit that could be done for it. That page isn’t tagged by the MOl Bio Poroject, so you might want to look into how to do that. Which one would you like to take on? Htienson (talk) 03:36, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
Hi Professor Tienson, Thank you for your feedback! I'm think of doing either enzyme activator or lipid-anchored protein. I'm not too sure what the exact difference is between enzyme activator and just a regular enzyme. I'm thinking that "enzyme" is just an umbrella term and "enzyme activator" falls under that category. So it might be worthwhile to research some stuff and see if there is anything important that is distinct to just enzyme activators and not enzymes. We can discuss more in the seminar! Hi abbey, I am still seeing that my training is incomplete. I wonder what we are still missing? Nikkayd29 (talk) 19:34, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
