Hi, I have to say I agree with your edit here as you say "(The previous text was unbalanced and created the impression to attempt to hide an agenda. I think the new text is fair and leaves it up to the reader to examine the references critically and make up their own mind based on the evidence.)" it serves no great purpose and as you say has "agenda" therefore = POV..... however I think the solution, rather than adding counterweight comments from another POV is simply to remove the OR content of the section to the talk page in case anyone can provide serious academic references to restore some of it.
