editHello, I'm Hey man im josh. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Michael Balls seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Talk pages for non-existent articles
editHi - please don't create talk pages for articles that don't exist, it's not helpful. If you want the protection level of a page to be modified, you can apply to RfPP. Girth Summit (blether) 15:43, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Girth Summit Please unprotect the page. I brought the unportection to an RFC because one administrator is stonewalling me at RfPP based on their personal opinons, theories and moral jusgements. 168.8.125.20 (talk) 15:50, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- That sounds unlikely, but I'll be willing to look into it - please explain when and how you made a request for unprotection at RfPP. Girth Summit (blether) 15:55, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- Yesterday (from another IP address) i made a request to unprotect and create the article. An administrator then denied my request because they believed that the article would be used to harass the subject. I resubmitted my applicaiton hoping to be reviewed by a nuetral administrator, however the administrator closed my second application again due to their belief that the article would be used for harassment. I then went to the administrators talk page where they re-iterated their belief that the article would be used for harassment. I then created the RFC's you saw 168.8.125.20 (talk) 16:01, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry for the lack of diffs, im in class right now, will attempt to find them when i get a chance 168.8.125.20 (talk) 16:02, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- Multiple times I brought up how page protection could be used to prevent harrasment, however the administrator dismissed them. Leading me to believe that the administrator simply wants to censor the page. 168.8.125.20 (talk) 16:03, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- I fixed your indentation. The RfPP request you made was closed by one administrator, and that closure was reviewed by another separate and neutral administrator, who also opined that the requested protection decrease was not going to happen. Your jumping to conclusions about these administrators' motivations is a pretty blatant failure to assume good faith, by the way, and your combative approach on the first admin's talk page does not give me the impression that you are here to contribute collaboratively, and the amount of vandalism coming from this IP address also does not inspire confidence. Given the enormous amount of disruption that has surrounded this subject over the last few years, I am personally not inclined to reduce the protection at this time. Girth Summit (blether) 16:22, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- I apologize for my combativeness on MalcolmXl5's page, that was wrong of me. I didnt realize that multiple admins had been involved. I still dont agree with the page being removed but I do apologize for my immaturity. I was under the misinterpretation that the primary objection was simply that the subject should not have been covered but instead potential BLP violations. I also realize that with KF just going down now isnt the time for creation of an article on Christine and as such will be dropping the subject until KF cools down, I will also take strides to be more civil and thurough in my future disagreements. Best wishes. 168.8.125.20 (talk) 17:49, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks. FWIW, while we admins do our best to treat people editing through IPs with the same respect that we treat people using accounts, it can be difficult to assume good faith of IPs making requests about such sensitive subjects, especially when they have made edits like this, this and this in recent weeks. I appreciate that this is a shared IP address, and that you may not be responsible for all of its edits, but I'm sure you can appreciate how we might jump to conclusions. I'm going to block this IP from Michael Balls for a good long spell to prevent whoever it is who's been doing that - I hope you can understand that decision. You might want to consider creating an account to avoid this sort of association in future. Girth Summit (blether) 18:04, 6 September 2022 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Kingdom of Serbia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Tdshe/her 18:51, 6 October 2022 (UTC)

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. I Love Pets 12 (talk) 17:08, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- The edit in question (that you placed multiple warnings for):https://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Twitter_Files&diff=1127054439&oldid=1127054315 was a good faith, legitimate removal of content which was both blatantly violating NPOV in its phrasing and was placed in the objectively incorrect location for said information (A better place would be under Elon Musk or Twitter), I admit that I could have checked the (50 topic long) talk page before removing, but a failure to do that does NOT constitute vandalism, and elevating to ANI (https://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Administrator_intervention_against_vandalism&diff=prev&oldid=1127054738) over something like that shows either a lack of due diligance or a fundamental inability to WP:AGF 168.8.125.20 (talk) 17:22, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
Unblock
edit168.8.125.20 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
This is a shared IP for a highschool which makes largely constructive edits, however, that is not even relevant to this appeal, as the "vandalism" which lead to this accounts ban was a good faith edit removing content which both was not nuetral and was placed in a blatantly inappropriate place in the article, this edit was reverted with a message to go to the talk page, where there was a discussion occuring over the content (that I was not aware of), than, an uninvolved editor swooped in, placed two warnings (for the non-vandalism) on the talk page and placed a ban request on Administrator intervention against vandalism, which https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:Widr then fulfilled. My main issue with this ban (aside from the fact that this IP generally makes good fait, high quality edits) is that it was carried out for "vandalism" that is blatantly not. 168.8.125.20 (talk) 17:44, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This IP address is blocked as {{school block}} and has a history of vandalism stretching back for years. Frankly, I'm not sure anything else matters here. If you can demonstrate objectively there'll be no more vandalism, despite a history stretching back years, you are welcome to request a block review. Yamla (talk) 18:21, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
