I am a longtime but low-key user of Wikipedia. I've created two articles, in the last few years which have avoided deletion, Shelly Chartier and Glen de Vries and contribute regularly to other articles.
Originally I thought:

I actually thought it could be a place to ideate and crowdsource ideas. But I came to realize that that is not what an encyclopedia is.
I have made extensive use of Mediawiki, setting up giant wikis inside corporate Intranets. In my edit history you will see I take an interest in Enterprise collaborative software and search software., however much of this field may fall below the threshold of notability and I may need to collaborate on this topic elsewhere.
Was thinking about creating Tiny Mobile Phone Company, but now thinking it won't pass Wikipedia:NCOMPANY.
