I'm Christy, a mom of two and lifelong Montanan. For eight years, I served as an editor at the Montana Historical Society, where I had the pleasure of helping to create Montana The Magazine of Western History as well as the occasional book. I continue to read stacks of Montana history books and articles, and I have amassed a pretty thorough knowledge of the secondary-source literature about the Western United States. I spend my free time teaching Pilates at a local gym; hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and otherwise enjoying Montana outdoors; and cooking any and every kind of food. I'd like to put my general knowledge of western history to good use and contribute to pages on the topic.
