Anniversaries

edit

I started my contributions on April 18, 2016. I was searching for information about the Muisca after playing the grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV, where I chose the Muisca as playable nation. I was surprised and disappointed that little information and detail was to be found at the English language Wikipedia. That made me to contribute and study the history of the Muisca in the Eastern Ranges in Colombia.

1 year

edit

Now, 1 year later, I have contributed 200 new pages, of which 176 new written articles in English, expanded, categorised, de-stubbed and linked a lot more, and a total of more than 12,000 edits on en:wiki, so 1000 per month on average. I have also added around 100 new images to Commons.

My contributions haven't gone unnoticed, evidenced by accepted awards, respected recognition, two DYKs on the Main Page, 1 article about to be FA and the 480 year "celebration" of the fall of the Muisca Confederation at Bacatá.

It's an inspiration to continue to contribute and expand, reference and revise wherever I can.

2 years

edit

Today, 2 years later I have reduced my amount of edits, due to other activities, but have written in total more than 330 articles, templates, infoboxes and other pages and 16,000+ edits. Several attempts to get my articles to good status have failed, not because of the content and proper referencing, but because people don't like images. I do and I write for those who also do. If you don't like images, simply don't look at them.
