According to the Encyclopedia of Wars, a three-volume work by distinguished historians Charles Phillips and Alex Axelrod, of the more then 1700 recorded wars in the history of mankind, less than 7 percent of them were motivated by a religious cause.
It shows the folly of the militant secularists who love to hate and bash religions, distinguished and faithful preachers of God, and other servants of the Lord.

I'm an evangelical Christian, and a college student who likes to edit Wikipedia in his spare time. I must admit, I am a bit deflated about all the rampant secularism that is sweeping not only the United States, but Canada and Europe as well, although it started a lot sooner with Europe. After all, God did create us, and the Bible says in Psalm 33:12 that blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. A lot of people worship the false god of secularism and selfishness. I'm also black, and concerned about the rise of the radical right and their merry band of hardcore racists, anti-immigrant fanatics, misogynists, and their reverse Robin Hood philosophy of taking vital economic help and services from the poor so they can spoil the rich with more money.
But, my faith in God sees me through all bad times.
