Welcome to my User page...
I edit pages where I am knowledgeable (aspects of natural history, biogeography, science, genetics, systematics, history and philosophy), along with opportunistic general edits of other pages for grammar and clarity of writing. I make frequent edits but at this stage I am an apprentice editor (I'm not very clued up on Wikitext and drafting new pages - I hope to do that in the future).
Projects that I'm interested in contributing to include Frogs of the world species pages, principles of population genetics / genomics, and the history of biological exploration.
Wikipedia is vast, informative, relatively reliable and full of errors (especially errors in expression, rather than errors of fact). There is a lifetime's worth of edits to contribute.
I allow my edits to contribute organically within the Wikipedia community, and rarely follow pages that I have edited.
I am definitely, absolutely, not a flamer or sock puppet!
