- BSc University of Kent at Canterbury, lived in Canterbury and Hern Bay
- MSc University of Manchester lived in Manchester
- PhD University of Liverpool lived in Liverpool, lived in Toxteth near Sefton Park
- Postdoc University of Leeds lived in Leeds, taught in Saltash
- Moved to Lerryn near Lostwithiel Cornwall to work with Plants for a Future a Permaculture project, especially there Devon site near Ashwater.
Mathematicians

- Had the displeasure of attending a course by Chisholm on Vectors in three-dimensional space which seemed to consist of him reading aloud from the book
Activism
edit- Earth First! helped organised one of the first UK actions in Liverpool
- Never participated in Earth Liberation Front actions, but was at the meeting where the movement started
- Participated in Direct Action at Twyford Down, M11 link road protest, Manchester International Airport
- Stayed at Faslane Peace Camp
- Chained my self to the ralings outside the House of Commons and later arrested without charge. (Two other arrests without charge).
- ICI served an injunction against me.
- Participated in Liverpool and Leeds Critical Mass bike rides.
- Played british bulldog with the guards at Stonehenge on the Winter solstice
- Met Angie Zelter and took her place on an action
- Knew Derek Wall another friend of a friend.
- Worked with George Marshall (environmentalist) during the Earth First! roadtrip
- Stood as a local councilor for the Green Party in Tuebrook and Stoneycroft and Riverside. Never won but got more votes than the tory candidate.
