Picture of the day
editOrnge is a Canadian registered charity that provides air ambulance and associated ground transportation services for the province of Ontario, under the direction of the province's Ministry of Health. The name Ornge (pronounced orange) is based on the orange colour of the organization's aircraft and land ambulances. In 2012, the charity and its associated companies employed more than 400 people, including paramedics, pilots and aviation specialists. Ornge has its own aircraft and land ambulances, with 12 bases across Ontario. It also contracts some operations out to independent service providers. This photograph shows an Ornge AgustaWestland AW139 departing from the Grand River Hospital helipad in Kitchener–Waterloo.Photograph credit: The Cosmonaut
My interests
editI am an amateur radio operator |
As amateur radio I have been licensed since 1994 using now CW qrp and RTTY and occasionally other digital modes. I'm using French, English and Spanish to communicate. My hobbies are collecting photos of official post boxes from everywhere especially the pillar boxes because I suffer from puxisdiphterophily (don't worry it is good for health !).
I am also interested in heraldry. My other interests are astronomy and rugby. For further info please wait to let me time to write down on this page. See you soon ! ¡ Hasta pronto ! À bientôt !
