Criticism

The biggest objections to NimbleX 2008 are about software installation and security. According to package selection limited to fewer than 500 packages and in several cases, such as Bluefish and Krusader, packages were either uninstallable or unusable because they required unavailable libraries. The main security hole is that a user account is not created during installation, but you can log into an installed desktop without even entering the default root password.
