Early Life
Murphy was born on February 16, 1990 in San Jose, California. As described in his autobiographical documentary "Growing Up Too Fast, Betches," Murphy was forced to defend himself as a youth while attending school in inner-city San Jose. However, Murphy has said that he would never take back the years during which he learned and grew as a person. He developed a strong affinity for African-American Northern California culture, especially that of the African-American woman.
After episode 9 of Entourage, Murphy decided that his true talents resided in the Hollywood entertainment business.
