I am a practicing artist, holding a BFA in Painting & Drawing. As a student, I was interested in Art History and studied its general history (well known movements and periods) as well as more specific movements like the history of American Craft (Studio craft)[1], and an architectural survey of the ancient city of Pompeii[2]. I work for a non-profit craft organization focused on advancing the field of contemporary craft through research, financial support and field exposure. I deal with the public daily, discussing craft in different contexts, and look forward to continuing my educational efforts in this regard through Wikipedia!
