Chapel-en-le-Frith C of E VC Primary School is a mixed gender Primary School in Chapel-en-le-Frith in the county of Derbyshire, England. It serves pupils aged 3 to 11 from the town and from the surrounding villages. It also has an enhanced resource unit that serves pupils with special educational needs from a wider area of North Derbyshire.
The school was formed in 2002 by the merger of Warmbrook Junior School and Chapel-en-le-Frith Infant School.
When initially formed the infant (KS1) and junior (KS2) sections of the school were in different buildings - the KS2 building being the original unchanged Warmbrook Junior School building and KS1 was housed in a new separate building. In Autumn 2010 a Children's Centre was opened by Derbyshire County Council on the site that included a new reception for the school and link corridors linking the two halves of the school together for the first time.
Special Measures
editFollowing an Ofsted inspection in October 2013 the school was placed into Special Measures.
