Kelly Hill is an ASU student studying graphic design and minoring in digital media literacy and studio arts. Currently, she is working at a coffee chain and working her way upwards to become a graphic designer for that company. On her own time, she plans on doing freelance work and meeting people outside of doing odd jobs.

Education

Before studying at Arizona State University, Hill started writing many poems and short stories in high school, as well as creating artwork. She didn't begin an Instagram art page until late 2019, when she felt like she had enough work to release to the public. Post high school, Hill traditionally didn't go to college right away. In fact, she had planned to take a singular gap year to assess her skill set and choose a career right from that. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kelly decided to extend her gap year to two years and then go back to college.

Once her gap years were over, Kelly started studying fine arts at Phoenix College. In her second year, Kelly joined an editorial course for the school's creative writing magazine, Phoenix College Rise Magazine (issue II). During this course, she learned a bit about marketing and sharing the magazine with others.

Careers

Before going to college to study graphic design and fine arts, Kelly gained experience by working as a preschool teacher and warehouse associate. She gained customer service skills and learned to work with others as a team. At her warehouse job, Kelly became a trainer, learned how to coach and train people in multiple areas, and refined her public speaking skills during larger crowds.
