Casker (캐스커 kaeseukeo) is a Korean electronica/pop/lounge duo consisting of Lee Joon Oh (producer, lyrics, composing, DJ) and Yoong Jin (vocals, lyrics, composing).
Casker started as a one-man project launched by Lee Joon Oh in 1998. In 1999, Casker participated in Korea’s first techno compilation album, techno@kr.
Casker released its debut album “Iron Planet” in 2003, the album was a mix of Shibuya-kei electronica and lounge style.
Casker wrote a song for the soundtrack of Korean drama The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince entitled "Mocha".
Since its debut, the band has been actively participating in the Hongdae music club scene while working with numerous renowned pop musicians in Korea. Casker collaborated with other artists including "mondo fuse", "Dj hiroya", "Free TEMPO" and "Fantastic Plastic Machine".
In 2004, the band recruited a main vocalist named Yoong Jin.
