The Bangor University Fencing Club is a University fencing club that competes in the BUCS Fencing Leagues.
The club is located in North Wales in the city of Bangor. It's base is near the Menai Suspension Bridge and is part of Bangor University Athletic Student Union. They compete in the three different type of weapons; Foil, Épée and Sabre. The club was established to improve and encourage fencing in Bangor University. It acts both as an athletic foundation but also as a social one, running various events. The club is an active participant in various fencing competitions and has established a good reputation. Currently the fencing club runs three teams, two Men's teams (1st and 2nds) which competes in the BUCS North 1 and 2A divisions and a Women's team which compete in BUCS Northern 1A division.
The Club are currently sponsored by a local pub The Skerries who share an excellent relationship.
